The typical filter of poetry

The first editions of the Painting Contests, in the 80's, include Extemporary and Thematic competitions.
Painters put their easels in fields, squares, slopes or streets, arrive with their equipment and paint in their own time, in a peaceful context, their number sizable, since they find an interested and welcoming public.
The landscape is the protagonist and often becomes the expression of moods.
Countless paintings remain “in situ”, purchased by local families or institutes. The majority of them fall within the figurative category, that asks for unquestionable skills, has a long established tradition yet does not stop the gifted creator from inventing.
The fields that alternate in the valley, the houses scattered around, the patches of vegetation are lie a tune to be played on a piano keyboard. Tranquil and gentle views where artists feel the rhythm of balance that each of them interprets with a personal style..
At the beginning of the 90's, the rules change, hence the contests take on a new aspect. The extemporary one is accompanied by that of experimental painting - Pittura di studio. Now participants have the absolute freedom on themes, techniques and means of expression.
The exhibition, with several contemporary well known painters offer a large number of paintings with subjects ranging from country landscapes to semi-dark interiors, floral arrangements and women-goddess, elegant and existent in a land created by the mind.
On show: surreal paintings with bewildered and rarefied atmospheres as well as certain family habitual scenes that surprise in their original re-interpretation.
Each year, an ideal creative process enables artists to express a natural reality full of unknown tensions, characterized by the typical chromatic features of the surroundings whose forms synthesize existent unpredictable views, life rhythms, people's faces.
Artists feel the spirit of the area.
Art in Fighille coincides with common feelings, it can rejoice or suffer and possesses the typical filter of poetry.
